Escapees Theatre Company will be presenting CLUE on stage in agreement with
Origin Theatrical at the Drum Theatre, Dandenong in May 2023.
On a dark and stormy night, six unique guests, plus a butler and a maid, assemble for a dinner party at the home of Mr. Boddy. When their host turns up dead, it is clear that no one is safe! Soon the guests are racing to find the killer and keep the body count from stacking up.
Based on the popular board game and adapted from the cult classic film, Clue is the comedy whodunit that will keep you guessing (and laughing) to the very end.

Whilst we acknowledge that cast have commitments outside of the production which may present challenges, the company also has an expectation that sufficient measures have been taken to ensure that cast are present and on time for dates during rehearsal season. This is not only a mark of respect for the crew and fellow cast members, but is also a matter of
occupational health and safety. Failure to provide sufficient notice to production teams of potential missed dates or lateness may result in being removed from certain numbers, or in extreme circumstances, be removed from the show.
There will be a show fee of $200 per cast member which covers insurance costs, helps to
cover rehearsal venues and will also include a show t-shirt.
We want to offer this opportunity to everyone and we understand money can be a difficult
hurdle. Please know we are very open to extending due dates and working out payment
plans. The show fee should not be the reason you don’t audition. Please contact us with any
concerns you might have.

Auditionees are also required to present a short, 60 second monologue in the style of the show.

No member of the audition panel will themselves be auditioning for the show.
The company prides itself on casting on auditionee merit, and as such have included the third party panellist as a way to demonstrate our full transparency in the process.
